New to this map? Start here
  1. The orange dashed line is the property boundary, taken from the owner's land survey. Homes on Fendig Rd and Draughons Dr are outlined in red (310, 312 and 320 Fendig) and gray; tap one for its distance.
  2. Pick Option 1 or Option 2 (top right) to lay the county's site plan over the neighborhood. Boundary only hides it. Use Plan opacity to see the ground underneath.
  3. Open the layers control (bottom left) and choose Aerial photo to find your home.
  4. With Tap for distance on, tap your home to see how far it is from the property line. Use Measure two points to measure between any two spots.

The numbered boxes. They are part of the county's own site plan image, which we have laid over the map. Team SSI did not add them. Option 2 is the developer's layout, not the county's. To see what the county's drawing labels, compare it with the county's presentation (Part 1, Part 2).

Approximate, not a survey. Plan overlays can be off by about 10 to 15 feet, and distances are straight-line to the property line, not to a particular building or use. See the full accuracy note below the map.

How to read this map. Choose Option 1 or Option 2 to overlay the county's Master Plan layout on the map, and use the opacity slider to see the neighborhood underneath. Switch the base map to Aerial photo (bottom left) to find your home. Tap any spot to see its distance to the property line, or use Measure two points to measure from a building shown on the plan to your own.
Accuracy. The property boundary comes from the owner's land survey (Shupe Surveying, tree and topographic survey of Tract 4, signed 7/7/2026), located with the survey's own State Plane control points. Its computed area (7.17 acres) and edge lengths match the survey. The plan overlays are the images in the county's 9/15/2026 Islands Planning Commission presentation, lined up to that boundary, so expect an offset of about 10 to 15 feet. This is not a survey. Distances are straight-line and measured to the property line, not to a specific building or use.
Dunbar Acres lots. The four teal lots come from a preliminary plat for Lot 4A (Revised), Dunbar Acres (Shupe Surveying, 6/17/2025; signed by Glynn County Planning and Zoning 9/9/2025; not a recorded plat). They sit across Fendig Rd from the site, about 53 ft from the property line at the nearest point. The plat has no map coordinates, so the lots were placed using the county parcel for 334 Fendig Rd (Waterford Green Communities, LLC) and the Fendig Rd right-of-way. Treat their position as accurate to about 10 to 15 ft. Lot sizes are from the plat.
Neighboring homes. Parcel outlines for Fendig Rd and Draughons Dr come from the Glynn County tax parcel data. Distances are from the parcel line to the property line, rounded to 5 ft, and are approximate. The Dunbar Acres parcel at 334 Fendig Rd is shown as the four proposed lots. Only street addresses are shown.
Case status. On 9/15/2026 the Islands Planning Commission voted 5–2 to recommend approval of rezoning ZM-26-18; the development plan, DP-26-1, was deferred. The Board of Commissioners vote originally set for 10/1/2026 was postponed and no new date has been announced (as of October 14, 2026). Check the Glynn County portal and calendar for the latest status.
